Description

Air Fryer Cabbage Wedges are crispy on the outside and tender inside, made with simple pantry ingredients and ready in just minutes. A healthy, vegan, gluten-free side dish that pairs well with almost any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium green cabbage (about 2 lbs)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Remove loose outer leaves from the cabbage, rinse, and pat dry.
  2. Cut the cabbage in half through the core, then slice into 6–8 wedges, keeping the core intact.
  3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  4. Brush the seasoning mixture evenly over all sides of the cabbage wedges.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Arrange wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if needed.
  7. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until edges are crispy and centers are tender.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Avoid overcrowding the basket to ensure crisp edges.
  • Flip carefully to keep wedges intact.
  • Add lemon juice or fresh herbs after cooking for extra flavor.
