Description

Thinly sliced bananas tossed in coconut oil, cinnamon, and sugar, then air fried until crispy and golden for a naturally sweet, wholesome snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe but firm bananas
  • 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. Slice the bananas into thin, even rounds, about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. In a bowl, toss the banana slices gently with the melted coconut oil until evenly coated.
  4. Mix together the sugar, cinnamon, and salt, then sprinkle over the banana slices and toss again to coat.
  5. Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches as needed.
  6. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp at the edges.
  7. Remove and let cool completely on a wire rack — they will continue to crisp up as they cool.

Notes

  • Use ripe but firm bananas; overripe ones will be too soft to crisp up properly.
  • Let the chips cool completely before eating for the crispiest texture.
