Description
Thinly sliced bananas tossed in coconut oil, cinnamon, and sugar, then air fried until crispy and golden for a naturally sweet, wholesome snack.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe but firm bananas
- 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
- Slice the bananas into thin, even rounds, about 1/8 inch thick.
- In a bowl, toss the banana slices gently with the melted coconut oil until evenly coated.
- Mix together the sugar, cinnamon, and salt, then sprinkle over the banana slices and toss again to coat.
- Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches as needed.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp at the edges.
- Remove and let cool completely on a wire rack — they will continue to crisp up as they cool.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm bananas; overripe ones will be too soft to crisp up properly.
- Let the chips cool completely before eating for the crispiest texture.
