Description

Spooky and delicious, these Apple Spider Web Pops are the perfect Halloween treat! Easy to make, kid-friendly, and healthier than candy apples.

Ingredients

  • 3 large apples (Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or Gala)
  • 1 cup dark or milk chocolate (melted)
  • 1 cup white chocolate or white candy melts (melted)
  • 810 lollipop sticks or wooden skewers
  • Wax or parchment paper
  • Candy spiders or sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the apples thoroughly. Slice into ½-inch thick rounds, removing seeds. Insert a lollipop stick into each slice.
  2. Melt dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl (30-second intervals, stirring in between) until smooth.
  3. Dip apple slices into melted chocolate, coating evenly. Place on parchment paper to set.
  4. Melt white chocolate separately. Transfer to a piping bag or small plastic bag with a tip cut off.
  5. Pipe spider web designs over the chocolate-coated apples.
  6. Optional: Add candy spiders or sprinkles before chocolate sets.
  7. Let pops harden at room temperature or refrigerate for faster results.

Notes

  • Use tart apples like Granny Smith for a sweet-tart balance.
  • Make sure apples are completely dry before dipping to help chocolate stick.
  • Add food coloring to white chocolate for orange or purple webs.
  • Serve the same day for best crunch and freshness.
