Ingredients
- 1 package (14 oz) little smokies (cocktail sausages)
- 1 lb regular cut bacon, cut into thirds
- 1 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
- Optional: ½ tsp cayenne pepper or smoked paprika for spice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Cut bacon into thirds.
- Wrap smokies with bacon pieces and secure with toothpicks.
- Coat each wrapped smokie in brown sugar, pressing lightly so it sticks.
- Arrange on wire rack, seam side down.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until bacon is crisp and sugar is caramelized.
- Serve warm and enjoy!

- Use regular cut bacon for best crispiness.
- Add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the brown sugar for a sweet-spicy flavor.
