Description

Soft, chewy banana oatmeal bars made with wholesome ingredients like oats, almond butter, and ripe bananas — perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 3 large ripe bananas, mashed (about 1½ cups)
  • ½ cup (120g) creamy almond butter*
  • 2 cups (200g) rolled oats
  • 1 cup (170g) chocolate chips

Optional Additions:

  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ⅔ cup (100g) chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mash bananas. Stir in almond butter and vanilla.
  3. Add oats, cinnamon, salt, and nuts if using. Mix until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Spread evenly in pan. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and set.
