Ingredients

- 1 cup milk

- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon butter
For the Chocolate Sauce:
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Make the Tart Shells:
- Mix flour and sugar in a bowl. Rub in the cold butter until crumbly.
- Add egg yolk and cold water until dough forms. Wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
- Roll out, cut circles, and press into tartlet pans.
- Prick with a fork and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12–15 minutes, or until golden. Cool completely.
Prepare the Banana Filling:
- Whisk milk, egg yolks, sugar, and cornstarch in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir constantly until thickened. Remove from heat and mix in mashed bananas, butter, and vanilla.
- Cool slightly before filling tart shells.
Make the Chocolate Sauce:
- Heat cream until simmering, then pour over chocolate.
- Stir until smooth, then mix in butter and vanilla.
Assemble:
- Spoon banana filling into tart shells.
- Drizzle chocolate sauce over each tartlet.
- Chill briefly before serving or enjoy warm.
