Ingredients
- 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 ½ cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or cubed
- ½ cup BBQ sauce, divided
- 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for crust)
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
- Optional toppings: cheddar cheese, jalapeños, pineapple, smoked paprika
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
- Toss chicken with half of the BBQ sauce until fully coated.
- Shape dough into a 12-inch circle or rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
- Assemble pizza: Brush crust edges with olive oil, spread remaining BBQ sauce over the base, sprinkle mozzarella, add BBQ chicken, and top with red onion slices.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before slicing and serving.
