Description

This cheesy beef and bowtie pasta in garlic butter is the ultimate comfort food. Tender bowtie pasta is tossed with seasoned ground beef, rich garlic butter sauce, and plenty of melted cheese for a hearty, family-friendly meal. Quick, satisfying, and absolutely delicious, it’s a dish you’ll want to make again and again.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 lb ground beef (lean preferred)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream (optional, for creaminess)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef with diced onion until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add butter and garlic to the skillet, cooking until fragrant. Stir in paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream (if using). Stir until sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and beef mixture into the garlic butter sauce. Toss well.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan over the pasta, stirring until melted and creamy.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated cheese for the best melt and flavor.
  • Add vegetables like mushrooms, spinach, or bell peppers for a nutritional boost.
  • For a spicier version, sprinkle in red pepper flakes or a dash of cayenne.
  • Save pasta water and add a splash if the sauce becomes too thick.
  • Leftovers taste even better the next day—just reheat with a little broth or cream.
