A hearty, cheesy, one-pan dinner featuring crispy ranch potatoes, savory smoked sausage, and melted cheddar. Easy, comforting, and family-friendly.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs baby potatoes, halved
- 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
- 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toss the halved potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the sliced smoked sausage and spread everything into a single layer.
- Roast for 25–30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until potatoes are golden.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top and return to the oven for 5–7 minutes, until melted.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Don’t crowd the baking sheet—use two pans for extra crispiness.
- Swap cheddar for Monterey Jack, pepper jack, or mozzarella.
- Add bell peppers, onions, or zucchini for a veggie boost.
- Turkey or chicken sausage also work well.
