Description
This Taco Bell Mexican Pizza features crispy tortillas layered with seasoned beef, refried beans, enchilada sauce, and melted cheese. A homemade version of the fast-food favorite that’s easy and satisfying.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 4 medium flour tortillas
- 1 cup refried beans
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup enchilada sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/3 cup diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons chopped red onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
Instructions
- Brown ground beef; drain excess grease.
- Add taco seasoning and water; simmer until thickened.
- Fry or bake tortillas until crisp.
- Warm refried beans.
- Spread beans on tortilla; add beef and top with second tortilla.
- Spread enchilada sauce over top and add cheeses.
- Bake at 400°F for 8–10 minutes until cheese melts.
- Top with tomatoes and onions; rest before slicing.
