Description

This Chicken Bubble Biscuit Bake Casserole is a cheesy, bubbly comfort food dish made with tender chicken, creamy sauce, and fluffy biscuits. Perfect for family dinners or potlucks!

Ingredients

For the Base:

  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie works best)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • ½ cup sour cream (or plain Greek yogurt)
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, green beans)

For Seasoning:

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

For the Topping:

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits (8-count, cut into quarters)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare Chicken Mixture: In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, frozen vegetables, and seasonings. Stir until fully mixed.
  3. Add Biscuits: Cut canned biscuits into quarters and gently fold them into the mixture.
  4. Assemble Casserole: Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Top with shredded cheese and drizzle melted butter.
  5. Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until biscuits are cooked through and golden brown on top.
  6. Cool & Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm and bubbly!

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken to save time.
  • If you like extra flavor, toast the biscuits slightly before baking.
  • Swap in cream of mushroom soup for a different twist.
  • Add a spicy kick with jalapeños or hot sauce.
  • For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cheese and light sour cream.
