Description
These Chicken Parmesan Sliders are the ultimate party food—crispy chicken, rich marinara sauce, and gooey melted cheese baked between buttery slider rolls. Perfect for game days, family dinners, or anytime you crave cheesy comfort in bite-sized form!
Ingredients
- 12 slider rolls (Hawaiian or dinner rolls)
- 1 lb cooked breaded chicken tenders or patties (cut to fit rolls)
- 1 ½ cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning or dried parsley
- Optional toppings: red pepper flakes, fresh basil, extra Parmesan
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a baking dish.
- Assemble Base: Slice rolls horizontally (keeping them connected). Place the bottom halves in the baking dish. Spread half of the marinara sauce evenly over them.
- Add Chicken: Arrange the breaded chicken evenly over the sauce.
- Add Cheese: Top with remaining marinara, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
- Top and Butter: Add the top half of the rolls. Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning, then brush over the rolls.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5–7 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
- Serve: Cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with extra marinara for dipping.
Notes
- Crispier Texture: Bake chicken in the oven or air fryer before assembling for extra crunch.
- Don’t Overload Sauce: Too much marinara can make the sliders soggy—use just enough for flavor.
- Cheese Variations: Try provolone, fontina, or cheddar for a different flavor twist.
- Make Ahead: Assemble up to 24 hours in advance, refrigerate, and bake when ready to serve.
- Party Tip: Double the recipe—it’s impossible to eat just one!
- Prep Time: 15 minutes
- Cook Time: 25 minutes
