Description

Indulge in the ultimate Chocolate Peanut Butter Temptation Pie — a creamy, no-bake dessert that combines rich chocolate ganache with a silky peanut butter filling in a buttery cookie crust.

Ingredients

Crust:

  • 1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs (Oreo or chocolate graham crackers)
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Peanut Butter Layer:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream)

Chocolate Ganache:

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional Toppings:

  • Crushed peanuts
  • Chocolate shavings or curls
  • Whipped cream
  • Peanut butter drizzle

Instructions

  1. Make the Crust:
Combine chocolate cookie crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl. Mix until well blended. Press firmly into a 9-inch pie dish, covering the bottom and sides. Chill for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Peanut Butter Filling:
In a large bowl, beat together the peanut butter and softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and mix again. Fold in whipped topping until light and fluffy. Spread evenly over the chilled crust.
  3. Make the Chocolate Ganache:
Heat the heavy cream until hot (not boiling). Pour over the chocolate chips and let sit for 1–2 minutes. Stir until smooth and glossy. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Assemble the Pie:
Pour the cooled ganache over the peanut butter layer, spreading evenly. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Serve and Enjoy:
Before serving, top with crushed peanuts, whipped cream, or a drizzle of peanut butter. Slice and enjoy the rich, creamy perfection!

Notes

  • Use creamy peanut butter: Avoid natural peanut butter as it can make the filling too oily.
  • Chill thoroughly: The pie sets best after several hours or overnight.
  • Slice cleanly: Warm a knife under hot water and wipe it before cutting each slice for smooth edges.
  • Customize it: Add a sprinkle of sea salt or caramel drizzle for a gourmet touch.
  • Make it ahead: This pie stores beautifully in the fridge for up to 5 days or freezer for 2 months.
