- 8 oz cream cheese, softened

- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)

Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, beat together softened butter and cream cheese until creamy.
- Add Egg and Vanilla: Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Add Cake Mix: Gradually add the cake mix, stirring until a thick dough forms.

- Bake: Arrange on the baking sheet, leaving space between cookies. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are set but centers remain soft.
- Cool: Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Serve: Dust with extra powdered sugar and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra festive cookies, mix in red and green sprinkles before baking.
- Don’t overbake! They should be slightly underdone in the center for that gooey texture.
- To prevent spreading, chill the dough for 15 minutes before rolling if your kitchen is warm.
- These cookies freeze beautifully—just thaw at room temperature before serving.
