Description

A savory and sweet Cranberry Brie Grilled Flatbread that combines melty brie, cranberry sauce, and fresh herbs on a crispy flatbread base. Perfect for appetizers, parties, or holiday meals.

Ingredients

  • Naan, store-bought pizza crust, or homemade flatbread (enough for 1 large flatbread or 2 smaller ones)
  • 4-6 oz Brie cheese, sliced
  • 1/4-1/3 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1-2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme (for garnish)

Optional Toppings:

  • Toasted almond slices or pecans
  • Fresh arugula
  • Grilled chicken or prosciutto
  • Freshly cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or skillet to medium heat. Lightly oil the surface.
  2. Place the flatbread on the grill or skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden.
  3. Flip the flatbread and layer with sliced brie cheese, cranberry sauce, and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
  4. Sprinkle with fresh rosemary or thyme. Close the grill lid or cover the skillet to melt the cheese (3-5 minutes).
  5. Once done, remove and top with optional toppings like toasted nuts, arugula, and black pepper.
  6. Slice, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a heartier version, add grilled chicken or prosciutto as toppings.
  • Swap brie for goat cheese or camembert for a different flavor profile.
  • To enhance the sweetness, drizzle a bit more honey or maple syrup before serving.
