Description

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon


Instructions

  1. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 1/2 tsp vanilla until smooth; chill 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  4. Mix in egg and vanilla.
  5. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; mix into dough.
  6. Mix cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl.
  7. Flatten dough, add cream cheese filling, seal, and roll into ball.
  8. Roll in cinnamon sugar and place on baking sheet.
  9. Bake 12–15 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool before serving.
