Description
- 2–3 lbs pork baby back ribs (or spare ribs)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Ingredients

Instructions
- Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs.
- Combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Rub evenly over ribs.
- Place ribs in the crockpot. Pour half of the BBQ sauce over them.
- Cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until tender.
- Optional: Transfer ribs to a baking sheet, brush with extra sauce, and broil for 3–5 minutes until caramelized.
- Serve warm with additional BBQ sauce if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sear the ribs in a skillet before placing them in the crockpot.
- Add 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar for a tangy kick.
- Use honey barbecue sauce for a sweet glaze.
- To store, refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 4 days or freeze for 2 months.
