Description

Make juicy, cheesy Crockpot Cheeseburgers the easy way! This slow cooker recipe delivers all the flavor of a classic cheeseburger — with tender ground beef, melted cheese, and savory seasonings

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional Add-ins:

  • ½ cup cooked bacon pieces
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup diced pickles
  • A few dashes of hot sauce or jalapeños

Instructions

  1. Brown the Beef:
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add diced onion and garlic; cook for 2–3 minutes until fragrant. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add to Crockpot:
Transfer the cooked beef mixture to your slow cooker.
  3. Combine Ingredients:
Add cheddar cheese soup, shredded cheddar, cream cheese, milk, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  4. Cook:
Cover and cook on LOW for 2–3 hours or HIGH for 1–1.5 hours, stirring occasionally until the cheese is melted and the mixture is creamy.
  5. Serve:
Spoon the cheesy beef mixture onto toasted hamburger buns, slider rolls, or serve over pasta or potatoes.

Notes

  • Brown the beef first: This prevents excess grease and enhances flavor.
  • Use sharp cheddar: It melts beautifully and adds a bold cheesy taste.
  • Customize the flavors: Add bacon, jalapeños, or BBQ sauce for fun variations.
  • Perfect for parties: Keep warm in your crockpot during serving hours.
  • Storage Tip: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
