Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 hot dogs or smoked sausages, sliced
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons chili seasoning
- 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (10-ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 (32-ounce) bag frozen tater tots
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet, drain excess fat, and set aside.
- Dice the onion and mince the garlic. Slice the hot dogs into rounds.
- Spray the crockpot with cooking spray and layer the browned beef, hot dogs, onion, garlic, and chili seasoning.
- Add the tomato sauce and diced tomatoes with green chilies, stirring to combine.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the mixture, then top with frozen tater tots.
- Cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
