Ingredients

  • 4 large egg whites, at room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 small box (3 oz) Jello powder (any flavor)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • Optional: sprinkles, edible glitter, or colored sugar


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 225°F (107°C). Line baking sheets with parchment.
  2. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until frothy.
  3. Gradually add sugar while beating until stiff peaks form.
  4. Mix in Jello powder until fully combined.
  5. Pipe or spoon meringue onto baking sheets.
  6. Add toppings if desired.
  7. Bake for 1 hour, then turn off oven and let cookies sit for another hour.
