Juicy steak seared in garlic butter served over fluffy rice with steamed broccoli and fresh parsley for a flavorful, balanced meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound steak of your choice (ribeye, sirloin, strip)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup steamed broccoli
- ¼ cup chopped parsley
Instructions
- Bring steak to room temperature and season with salt and black pepper.
- Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak 3–5 minutes per side to desired doneness; remove and let rest.
- Add remaining butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Pour garlic butter over steak.
- Slice steak against the grain. In serving bowls, layer rice, sliced steak, and steamed broccoli.
- Drizzle with garlic butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Rest steak before slicing to keep it tender.
