Description

Juicy steak seared in garlic butter served over fluffy rice with steamed broccoli and fresh parsley for a flavorful, balanced meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak of your choice (ribeye, sirloin, strip)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Bring steak to room temperature and season with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak 3–5 minutes per side to desired doneness; remove and let rest.
  3. Add remaining butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Pour garlic butter over steak.
  4. Slice steak against the grain. In serving bowls, layer rice, sliced steak, and steamed broccoli.
  5. Drizzle with garlic butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Rest steak before slicing to keep it tender.
  • Add a fried egg on top for extra protein.
  • Use quinoa or cauliflower rice as a healthy alternative.
