A quick and healthy stir fry made with ground turkey, crisp vegetables, and a homemade teriyaki sauce for a flavorful one-pan meal.
Ingredients
Teriyaki Sauce:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 cup water (divided)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp orange zest
Stir Fry:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, ginger, orange zest, and 1/2 cup water.
- Mix cornstarch with remaining water to form a slurry.
- Heat sesame oil in a pan and cook ground turkey until browned.
- Add onion, broccoli, and carrots; cook until tender-crisp.
- Pour in sauce, then add cornstarch slurry.
- Stir until sauce thickens and coats everything evenly.
- Simmer briefly, then serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh ginger for better flavor.
- Don’t overcook vegetables to keep them crisp.
- Add chili flakes for a bit of heat.
