Description

Spooky and delicious, this Ghost Pizza for Halloween is an easy, kid-friendly recipe with ghost-shaped mozzarella, fresh toppings, and crispy crust—perfect for parties or family fun.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 68 mozzarella slices (cut into ghost shapes)
  • 68 black olive slices (for eyes)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • ½ cup bell peppers, sliced
  • Olive oil (for brushing crust)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Optional: crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Roll out the pizza dough to desired size and thickness.
  2. Transfer dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone. Brush edges lightly with olive oil.
  3. Spread pizza sauce evenly, leaving a 1-inch border.
  4. Use a cookie cutter or knife to cut ghost shapes from mozzarella slices. Arrange on the pizza.
  5. Add olive slices as eyes for the ghosts. Place additional toppings (tomatoes, peppers) as desired.
  6. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until crust is golden and cheese is melted.
  8. Slice, serve, and enjoy your spooky creation!

Notes

  • For an extra crispy crust, pre-bake dough for 5 minutes before adding toppings.
  • Use vegan cheese for a dairy-free version.
  • Let kids assemble their own mini ghost pizzas for a fun party activity.
  • Add a drizzle of balsamic glaze for extra flavor.
