Description

Soft, buttery, and bursting with garlicky goodness — this Hawaiian Roll Garlic Bread is the ultimate sweet and savory side dish. Perfect for family dinners, parties, or quick weeknight meals. Ready in just 20 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 pack (12-count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 34 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Optional: ½ cup mozzarella or Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: ¼ teaspoon chili flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Make Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and salt. Stir until well combined.
  3. Slice Rolls: Without separating them, slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally in half.
  4. Spread Butter: Brush half of the garlic butter on the bottom half, then place the top half back on. Brush remaining butter on top.
  5. Add Cheese (Optional): Sprinkle mozzarella or Parmesan for extra flavor.
  6. Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and aromatic.
  7. Serve: Let cool slightly, pull apart, and enjoy warm!

Notes

  • Make Ahead: Assemble the rolls in advance and refrigerate for up to 12 hours before baking.
  • Reheat Properly: Warm leftovers in an oven or air fryer to retain texture.
  • Customize It: Add herbs like thyme or rosemary for extra aroma.
  • Cheesy Twist: Use a blend of mozzarella and Parmesan for a gooey, savory finish.
  • Avoid Sogginess: Don’t overdo the butter; a light brush gives the perfect texture.
