Description

Juicy baked chicken topped with tangy feta and a sweet-spicy honey glaze. Simple ingredients come together for a flavorful, balanced dinner that pairs well with grains or vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 200 g feta cheese, crumbled
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Season chicken breasts on both sides with salt and black pepper.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together honey, hot sauce, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and oregano.
  4. Place chicken in the baking dish and pour sauce evenly over the top.
  5. Sprinkle crumbled feta over the chicken.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Spoon pan sauce over chicken halfway through cooking.
  8. Rest for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Reduce hot sauce for a milder flavor or add extra honey for more sweetness.
  • Chicken thighs can be used for a juicier texture.
  • Serve with rice, roasted vegetables, or a crisp green salad.
