Description

Flaky puff pastry filled with creamy, cheesy jalapeño filling—perfect for parties or snacking.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (or Monterey Jack)
  • 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 large egg (for egg wash)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, jalapeños, and garlic powder.
  3. Roll out puff pastry and cut in half. Spread filling on one half, then top with the other half.
  4. Slice into strips, twist each one, and place on the baking sheet.
  5. Brush with egg wash and bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and crisp.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.
