Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (or Monterey Jack)
- 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 large egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, jalapeños, and garlic powder.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut in half. Spread filling on one half, then top with the other half.
- Slice into strips, twist each one, and place on the baking sheet.
- Brush with egg wash and bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
