Description

Crispy on the outside and tender inside, this air fryer chicken breast uses simple seasonings and a light crumb coating for a quick, flavorful dinner that works for meal prep or weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 23 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Optional: 1/2 tsp chili powder, Italian seasoning, or cayenne


Instructions

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry. Brush with olive oil.
  2. Mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper; season both sides.
  3. Dip each breast in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs or panko.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Cook chicken for 8–10 minutes, flip, and cook another 6–8 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Rest 3–5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Use medium-sized chicken breasts for even cooking.
  • Add Parmesan to breadcrumbs for extra flavor.
  • For a low-carb version, replace breadcrumbs with crushed pork rinds.
