Description

A hearty baked casserole loaded with meats, pasta, rich sauce, and melted cheese, delivering all the flavors of a meat lover’s pizza in one dish.


Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground beef
  • ½ lb Italian sausage
  • ½ cup pepperoni slices
  • ½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 cups marinara or pizza sauce
  • 8 oz rotini or penne pasta, cooked and drained
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar or provolone (optional)
  • ½ cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • ½ cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Cook pasta until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. Brown ground beef and sausage in a skillet; drain excess grease.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, pepper, and salt.
  5. Combine cooked pasta with meat sauce and half the mozzarella.
  6. Transfer to baking dish, top with remaining cheese, pepperoni, bacon, and optional toppings.
  7. Bake 20–25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

  • Broil for 2–3 minutes for a golden, slightly crispy cheese topping.
  • Add bell peppers or onions for a “supreme pizza” variation.
  • Let casserole rest 5 minutes before serving for easier slicing.
