Description

These Meat Lovers Pizza Tacos are the ultimate mashup of two favorites — cheesy, meaty pizza flavor wrapped in a crispy taco shell! Perfect for parties, game nights, or quick dinners the whole family will love.

Ingredients

  • 8 taco shells or small flour tortillas
  • ½ lb Italian sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 20 pepperoni slices
  • ¾ cup pizza sauce
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Optional Toppings:

  • Diced bell peppers
  • Red onion slices
  • Black olives
  • Fresh parsley or basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the meats: In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat. Cook bacon separately until crispy, then crumble into small pieces.
  2. Preheat oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Prepare shells: Place taco shells or tortillas on the sheet. Brush lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Bake for 3–5 minutes until slightly crisp.
  4. Assemble tacos: Spread 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce inside each shell. Add mozzarella cheese, then layer with sausage, bacon, and pepperoni. Top with more mozzarella and a sprinkle of Parmesan.
  5. Bake: Return tacos to the oven and bake for 6–8 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Serve: Garnish with parsley or basil. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Use hard taco shells for a crispy bite or flour tortillas for soft, cheesy folds.
  • For extra crunch, toast the shells before filling.
  • Add a layer of cheese under the meat to keep the shells from getting soggy.
  • Try different cheeses — provolone, cheddar, or Monterey Jack work great.
  • For meal prep, cook and store the meat filling ahead of time; assemble tacos just before baking.
