Description

These Mini Lemon Tarts are a simple three-ingredient dessert with a smooth, tangy filling nestled inside crisp phyllo shells. They’re quick to prepare, easy to serve, and ideal for gatherings or last-minute treats.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 25 mini phyllo cups

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and arrange phyllo cups on a baking sheet.
  2. Whisk condensed milk and lemon juice together until thickened and smooth.
  3. Spoon filling into each phyllo shell, filling just below the rim.
  4. Bake 8–10 minutes until set but still slightly soft in the center.
  5. Cool completely, then refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the best flavor.
  • Do not overbake; the filling should remain pale and glossy.
  • Chill thoroughly to achieve a firm, creamy texture.
  • Add lemon zest for a more vibrant citrus profile.
