Description

Fudgy Mint Brownies layered with mint buttercream and silky chocolate ganache. Perfect for holidays, parties, or anytime you crave a chocolate-mint treat. Quick to make and delightfully decadent!


Ingredients

Brownies:

  • 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on the box: eggs, oil, water)

Mint Buttercream:

  • 3/4 cup salted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon mint extract
  • 12 drops green food coloring
  • 12 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

Chocolate Ganache:

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven as directed on brownie mix box. Prepare and bake brownies; cool completely.
  2. Beat butter for mint buttercream until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, mint extract, food coloring, and cream; mix until smooth. Spread evenly over cooled brownies.
  3. Heat heavy cream for ganache until simmering; pour over chocolate chips, stir until smooth, and spread over buttercream.
  4. Chill 1–2 hours until ganache sets. Slice and serve.

Notes

  • Cool brownies completely before adding layers for clean slices.
  • Adjust mint extract to taste.
  • Garnish with crushed peppermint for a festive look.
