Description

Juicy homemade burgers stuffed with a savory bacon and onion filling, perfect for an easy and comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 strips bacon, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 (1 oz) envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 4 hamburger buns


Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a skillet until slightly crispy. Add onion and cook until soft. Drain and cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, onion soup mix, and black pepper.
  3. Divide beef into 8 portions and flatten into patties.
  4. Add bacon-onion mixture to 4 patties, then top with remaining patties and seal edges.
  5. Cook on grill or skillet over medium heat for 5–6 minutes per side until done.
  6. Serve on buns with desired toppings.

Notes

  • Seal edges היט to prevent filling from leaking.
  • Avoid overmixing beef for tender burgers.
