Description

A creamy, spicy one-pot pasta loaded with tender chicken, bold Cajun flavor, and Parmesan—perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced (optional)
  • 1½ cups orzo pasta
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Toss chicken with Cajun seasoning.
  2. Sauté chicken in olive oil until browned; set aside.
  3. Cook onion, garlic, and bell pepper in same pot until soft.
  4. Add orzo and broth; simmer until orzo is nearly tender.
  5. Stir in cream, Parmesan, and chicken; cook until creamy and thickened.
  6. Season to taste and garnish with parsley.
