Ingredients
Brownie Base:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
Pecan Pie Topping:
- ¾ cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1½ cups chopped pecans
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper and grease.
- Mix melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla in a bowl.
- Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir until combined. Spread into pan.
- Bake brownie layer for 20–25 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk topping ingredients. Fold in pecans.
- Pour topping over partially baked brownies. Bake an additional 25–30 minutes.
- Cool completely, then chill for at least 2 hours before slicing.
