Description

A quick and flavorful copycat recipe featuring seasoned ground chicken served in crisp lettuce leaves for a light, healthy meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup canned water chestnuts, diced
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 head butter lettuce, leaves separated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook ground chicken in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and ginger; cook until fragrant.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  4. Add water chestnuts and green onions; cook for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Spoon mixture into lettuce leaves.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve.
