Description
A protein-packed baked casserole made with cottage cheese, eggs, marinara sauce, mozzarella, and customizable pizza toppings.
Ingredients
- 2 cups full-fat cottage cheese
- 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- 1 cup pasta sauce (marinara or pizza sauce)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup mixed pizza toppings (pepperoni, peppers, olives, mushrooms, etc.)
- 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Mix cottage cheese, eggs, oregano, garlic powder, and 1 cup mozzarella.
- Spread half mixture in dish and add sauce layer.
- Add pizza toppings evenly.
- Top with remaining mixture and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
- Bake 30–35 minutes until golden and set.
- Rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use full-fat cottage cheese for best texture.
- Chop toppings small for even baking.
- Add red pepper flakes for extra heat.
