Description

Garlicky, buttery shrimp scampi inspired by Red Lobster, ready in under 30 minutes. A comforting, flavorful seafood dish perfect for pairing with pasta, rice, or crusty bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb extra large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp Old Bay seasoning, divided
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups white wine or chicken broth
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, and 1 tsp Old Bay.
  2. Sauté shrimp in olive oil (2 mins per side), then remove from pan.
  3. In same pan, sauté garlic, then add wine/broth, lemon juice, and remaining Old Bay. Simmer 5 mins.
  4. Reduce heat; whisk in butter gradually until melted.
  5. Return shrimp to pan, cook 1–2 mins.
  6. Garnish with parsley and Parmesan. Serve hot.

Notes

  1. Don’t overcook shrimp—once they’re pink and firm, they’re ready.
  2. For non-alcoholic version, use chicken broth.
  3. Serve with pasta, rice, or toasted bread.
