Description

Wake up to a delicious, protein-packed breakfast! These Sausage, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Roll-Ups are buttery, cheesy, and ready in just 30 minutes — the perfect on-the-go breakfast for busy mornings.

Ingredients

For the Roll-Ups

  • 1 package (8-count) crescent roll dough
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (or preferred cheese)
  • 4 breakfast sausage links (cooked and halved)
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for cooking eggs)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Optional Add-Ons

  • Chopped green onions or spinach
  • Crumbled bacon or ham
  • A sprinkle of hot sauce or red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Scramble the Eggs:
In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, pour in the egg mixture, and cook until softly scrambled. Remove from heat.
  2. Cook the Sausage:
Cook sausage links until browned and fully cooked. Slice each one in half.
  3. Assemble:
Unroll the crescent dough into triangles. Add a spoonful of scrambled eggs, half a sausage, and shredded cheese on each triangle. Roll from the wide end toward the point.
  4. Bake:
Place roll-ups on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Serve:
Let cool slightly and serve warm. Perfect with ketchup, salsa, or a drizzle of hot sauce!

Notes

  • Use Pillsbury Crescent Dough for best texture.
  • Add Parmesan cheese to the top before baking for extra flavor.
  • Make-ahead: Assemble the night before, refrigerate, and bake fresh in the morning.
  • Freezer-friendly: Freeze cooked roll-ups and reheat for a quick breakfast anytime.
  • For a healthier twist, use turkey sausage or egg whites only.
