Description

Tender, flavorful beef brisket cooked low and slow with garlic, onion, and a savory-sweet sauce—perfect for dinner, sandwiches, or meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 pounds beef brisket
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced


Instructions

  1. Mix spices and rub over brisket.
  2. Sear brisket on both sides in olive oil.
  3. Place sliced onion and garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Add brisket on top and pour in broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, and Worcestershire.
  5. Cover and cook on low 8–10 hours or high 5–6 hours until fork-tender.
  6. Rest, slice against the grain, and serve with sauce.

Notes

  • For deeper flavor, don’t skip the searing step.
  • Add BBQ sauce for a smoky variation.
  • Use leftovers for brisket sandwiches or tacos.
