Tender, flavorful beef brisket cooked low and slow with garlic, onion, and a savory-sweet sauce—perfect for dinner, sandwiches, or meal prep.
Ingredients
- 3 to 4 pounds beef brisket
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 cup beef broth
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Mix spices and rub over brisket.
- Sear brisket on both sides in olive oil.
- Place sliced onion and garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add brisket on top and pour in broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, and Worcestershire.
- Cover and cook on low 8–10 hours or high 5–6 hours until fork-tender.
- Rest, slice against the grain, and serve with sauce.
