Crispy Slow Cooker Parmesan Ranch Oyster Crackers made with buttery Ranch seasoning, garlic, Parmesan, and fresh parsley for an easy snack or party appetizer.
Ingredients
- 2 (8-ounce) packages oyster crackers
- 1 (1-ounce) package Ranch Seasoning and Salad Dressing Mix
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ teaspoon dried dill
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
Instructions
- Add the oyster crackers to the slow cooker.
- In a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, combine the vegetable oil and unsalted butter. Heat until the butter is melted.
- Stir in the Ranch seasoning mix, minced garlic, and dried dill until well combined.
- Pour the seasoning mixture over the oyster crackers and gently stir until evenly coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 1 ½ to 2 hours, stirring every 20 to 30 minutes.
- During the final 15 minutes, stir in the freshly grated Parmesan.
- Turn off the slow cooker and spread the crackers onto a baking sheet or parchment-lined tray to cool completely.
- Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
