Description

Crispy Slow Cooker Parmesan Ranch Oyster Crackers made with buttery Ranch seasoning, garlic, Parmesan, and fresh parsley for an easy snack or party appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 2 (8-ounce) packages oyster crackers
  • 1 (1-ounce) package Ranch Seasoning and Salad Dressing Mix
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon dried dill
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves


Instructions

  1. Add the oyster crackers to the slow cooker.
  2. In a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, combine the vegetable oil and unsalted butter. Heat until the butter is melted.
  3. Stir in the Ranch seasoning mix, minced garlic, and dried dill until well combined.
  4. Pour the seasoning mixture over the oyster crackers and gently stir until evenly coated.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 1 ½ to 2 hours, stirring every 20 to 30 minutes.
  6. During the final 15 minutes, stir in the freshly grated Parmesan.
  7. Turn off the slow cooker and spread the crackers onto a baking sheet or parchment-lined tray to cool completely.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
