A quick and flavorful Loaded Taco Skillet made with ground beef, beans, veggies, and melted cheese. A one-pan dinner that’s easy, hearty, and perfect for family taco night.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (or chicken/turkey)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup corn kernels
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- 1 cup tortilla chips, crushed
- Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, salsa, jalapeños, cilantro
Instructions
- Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in taco seasoning, corn, black beans, and diced tomatoes. Simmer for 7 minutes.
- Sprinkle cheese over the skillet, cover, and cook until melted.
- Top with crushed tortilla chips and serve with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- Swap beef for chicken, turkey, or a vegetarian protein.
- Add jalapeños or hot sauce for extra spice.
