Description

Sweet, spicy, and savory—this Jalapeño Peach Chicken recipe combines juicy peaches, spicy jalapeños, and tender chicken for a flavor-packed dinner in under 40 minutes. Perfect for weeknights or entertaining!

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 2 fresh peaches, sliced
  • 12 jalapeños, thinly sliced (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey (or brown sugar)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (or coconut aminos for gluten-free)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the Chicken – Pat dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook Chicken – Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high. Cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  3. Prepare Glaze – In the same skillet, sauté garlic. Add peaches and jalapeños, cooking until softened. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and lime juice.
  4. Simmer – Return chicken to skillet, spoon glaze over, and cook 8–10 minutes until chicken is fully cooked (internal temp 165°F).
  5. Serve – Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with rice or veggies.

Notes

  • For a milder dish, remove jalapeño seeds before slicing.
  • Grill chicken and peaches before adding them to the glaze for a smoky flavor.
  • Swap peaches for nectarines, apricots, or pineapple for variation.
  • Double the glaze if you want extra sauce for rice or sides.
