Ingredients
- 20 ounces frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1.5–2 cups jalapeño pimento cheese
- 8 ounces sour cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 3–4 green onions, chopped
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon coarse black pepper
- ½ cup grated sharp cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix hash browns, butter, pimento cheese, sour cream, broth, green onions, salt, and pepper.
- Spread mixture evenly into the baking dish.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top if using.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use freshly grated cheese for better melting.
- Add jalapeños for extra spice.
